The role of deviations of interferon and immune statuses in the pathogenesis of recurrent herpes simplex virus infection were studied and approaches for correction of deviation ere elaborated also. The deviations of level of interferon and immune statuses were in direct correlation with the herpes duration grave. The complex methods of treatment of herpes infection were estimated in the study. The interferon inducers (cycloferon, oral poliomyelitis vaccine as viral interferon inducer) were administrated on the background of long-term antiherpetic suppressive therapy with acyclovir (or on the background of herpes vaccine). The efficiency of individual selection of immunomodulators was shown by using the method estimation of sensitivity the patient lymphocytes to immunomodulators.
