Essay

The object of study – parasitic invasions of the genitourinary system. The aim is to increase the efficiency of diagnosis, treatment, prevention of urogenital invasions caused by Trichomonas vaginalis and other protozoa on the basis of data on their epidemiology, clinic, properties of pathogens, morphoimmunopathogenesis, as well as the presence of concomitant pathogenic colonies. Methods: bibliosemantic analysis, meta-analysis, general clinical and laboratory, microbiological, immunological, methods of epidemiological analysis, molecular genetic, ultrastructural, methods of biometric and medical statistics. Detection of Trichomonas vaginalis, Trichomonas tenax, Pentatrichomonas hominis, Giardia lamblia allows the diagnostics and treatment of trichomoniasis and other protozoal invasions in the genitourinary system. The morphological, serological and ultrastructural features of these protozoa and other participants of pathological microbial associations formed by them are also taken into account. This leads to an increase in the treatment effectiveness and allows for prevention and reduce the medical and social consequences of relevant pathologies. The main thesises of the dissertation are introduced into the practice of work: clinics of skin and venereal diseases of the Kharkiv Regional Council "Regional Clinical Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary No 1", ME "Zaporizhzhia Regional Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary" of Zaporizhzhya Regional Council, Poltava Regional Clinical Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary, MNE "Odessa Regional Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary" of the Odessa Regional Council, ME "Rivne Regional Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary" of the Rivne Regional Council; MNE "City Clinical Dermatological and Venereological Dispensary No 5" of the Kharkiv City Council, SE "Institute of Dermatology and Venereology of the NAMS of Ukraine". Theoretical positions of the study and practical recommendations have been introduced into the practice of teaching students of both faculties of the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Department of Dermatovenereology and HIV/AIDS of the Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Department of Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology with a course in dermatovenereology and aesthetic medicine of Faculty of Postgraduate Education of Zaporizhzhia State Medical University. Area of use – dermatovenereology.
