The thesis is devoted to the questions of improving the results of diagnostic and surgical treatment in patients with peptic ulcer. The complex investigation of 276 patients with gastroduodenal ulcers was performed. In 63 (28,90%) patients disturbances of truncus coeliacus were revealed during Doppler-ultrasonic examination. In the dissertation criteria and algorithm of choice a method of operation with the Doppler-ultrasonic data is developed. The basic results of work have found practical application in the gastroduodenal surgery
