Fedorak N. Poetics of the Halych-and-Volhynian Chronicle.

The dissertation is dedicated to treating the Halych-and-Volhynian Chronicle as an artistic piece. Through the searching and studing of dominant artistic elements and complexes which form genre work's basis it had been tried to examing poetics of the Halych-and-Volhynian Chronicle not only as it has canon signes, but also within originality of this monument in context of Ukrainian chronicle tradition. Methodological basis of the research had to be chosen in accordance with the specific features of the material under analysis and the usage of the comparative-historical, structural, formal methods combined with the hermeneutics of the text.
