. For the first time the thesis treats M. Tsvetaeva's autobiographical prose as an aesthetically self-valuable phenomenon. Neomythological and lyrico-phylosophycal character of Tsvetaeva's prose is found, its belonging to Russian traditional artistic autobiography is supported. On this ground the new suggested classification of Tsvetaeva's autobiographical prose is done on the basis of genre, not topic and direction of its genre evolution is traced. An interpretation of Tsvetaeva's concept of world and person formed in the late period of author's life is given.
