Essay

The object of research was: the mint's hybrids F1 and the inbreeding posterity. The aim of research was: the initial material for creation of the nonmenthol mint's varieties. The methods of the creations were: artificial polyploidy, inbreeding, interspecific hybridization. The theoretical and practical results: the theoretical premises were created for the receipt of high productive interspecific hybrids with nonmenthol composition of essential oil. The most productive (12 forms) were passed for further studding to the Prilukskaya experimental station. The reliability of work was confirmed by the experiments. The results of this work may be used in the educational establishment and in the selectional farms.
