The thesis deals with the problems of establishing judicial bodies of the Ukrainian National Republic and of the Ukrainian State within 1917-1920. The peculiarities of court structure are revealed. The author investigates the process of formation of new judicial bodies. A considerable number of legal acts was analysed. The author also reveals the reasons causing the negative influence on the activity of courts.
