Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the phenomenon of the word in general philosophical aspect where it is considered as the universal and architype of culture. The suggested approach to the understanding of the word as a synonym of the language enable to analyse it in the philosophical and sosio-cultural aspect as the link symbolik form in the historico-cultural development. It has been established that in the Ukrainian mentality the attitude to the word has acquired an architypic meaning of the national spirit, symbol of the state and ethnic existense.
