Essay

The dissertation is devoted to research of the classical philosophical problem of relation between faith and reason based on example of the Kantain teaching on faith of reason. This thesis investigates and formulates core content of the teaching and its role in Kant's philosophy. The main stress is being made upon consistency of relations between faith and knowledge. Kant is acknowledged as a founder of idea that faith as a human capacity belongs to sphere of reason. The dissertation proves that the Kantian teaching on faith of reason rearranged the classical postulate on contradiction of faith and reason and led religious and philosophical discussions on a new postclassical level, where a human being was described in terms of its personal integrity and uniqueness.
