Research Objects: plantation of Jonagold Vilmut apple trees on dwarf rootstock М9 (clone T 337), sod-farmyard manure and fallow systems of soil management, fertilizers: crystalon, urea (carbamide). Research Aim: to ensure higt productivity of apple tree plantation with a short cycle of the utilisation by means of soil management in interrows and near - trank striper, at well as fertilisation methds. Methods: field, laboratory and statistic. Theoretical and practical results: optimum soil management systems were defined and recommended; the use of mineral fertilizers at the rater which were determined according to the indices of nutritive element content in the soil, their uptake by fruit crops and the metods of their application, were grounded; economic efficiency of the worked out farm practices was calculated. Novelty of the newly-introduced: for the first time under the conditions of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe zone; the processes of the growth and fruiting of the apple tree plantations w ith a short cycle of the utilizations depending on the soil management systems and fertilization metods were carefully studied. Degreet of application: the data of the researches and applied on the farms of Cherkasy region. Effectiency: in increases the productivity of intensive apple- tree plantations of clonal rootstocks. Area of application: commercial horticulture.
