The object of research - the processes of growth and fruiting of apple trees, depending on the coverage of the black anti-hail net and methods of holding between rows and trunk strips. Research methods - field, laboratory, laboratory-field and generally accepted methods of obtaining and processing information. Scientific novelty of the obtained results. For the first time in the Right Bank Forest-Steppe the peculiarities of growth and fruiting of strong-growing apple tree Jonagold (Wilmut clone) on rootstock M.9 T337 in irrigated plantation under black anti-hail net and improved fruit growing technology with optimized row spacing systems. The substantiation of the influence of the method of keeping between rows and trunk strips on the illumination of crowns, growth rates and productivity of apple plantations on a dwarf rootstock was further developed. The expediency of using black anti-hail mesh in the irrigated plantation of Jonagold apple tree (Wilmut clone) on rootstock M.9 T337 with suturing between rows and keeping stem strips under herbicide steam with light-reflecting film spread a month before harvest.
