The object of the study is the process of growing annual two-wire apple seedlings of the Florina variety on rootstock 54–118. The subject of research - elements of technology for growing two-wire apple seedlings. Research methods - field (establishing the characteristics of growth and productivity of seedlings); laboratory and laboratory-field (determination of leaf surface and root system parameters); mathematical and statistical (variance, correlation and regression analyzes); calculation and comparison (determining the effectiveness of methods of growing seedlings). Scientific novelty - for the first time elements of the technology of growing two-wire apple seedlings of the Florina variety on rootstock 54–118 were developed; the influence of budding height, method of creating conductors and placement density on phytometric parameters, yield and quality of annual two-conductor apple seedlings of Florina variety on rootstock 54–118 was established; For the first time, among the methods of determining the leaf blade area of ​​apple plants, computer image analysis using a smartphone camera and the Petiole application allows the most efficient and accurate measurement of the value of the indicator.
