Object - the patients with idiopathic mitral valve prolapse (IMVP). Aim - to improve the diagnosis of IMVP with the help of clinico-laboratory and instrumental methods of investigation, to define on its base questions of this syndrome's pathogenesis connected with neurohumoral regulation. Methods: clinical, electrocardiography, echocardiography, analysis of heart rate variability, veloergometry, biochemical: radioimmunoassay, spectrophotometrical, flaming photometry, complexonometrical, columnal chromatography with the next fluorometry. influence of the degree of IMVP on frequency and the level of clinical symptoms expression has been proved; the condition of autonomic status in patients with different degree of IMVP has been estimated; the connection of autonomic disturbances with clinical symptoms in patients with of IMVP has been demonstrated; the change dynamic of autonomic status on given physical exercise in patients with IMVP has been essayed; the dependence of the level of disturbances of neurohumoral regulation on size of IMVP has been revealed; neurohumoral disturbances which assists of arrhythmia's development in patients with IMVP has been revealed Cardiology.
