Оbstructive cholestasis is accompanied by substantial changes in the hepatic function and hemodynamics, structural disorganization of microcirculation which are in direct correlation with the duration of obstructive jaundice and the level of biliary hypertension. The liquidation of the cholestasis after long-term obstructive jaundice is accompanied by microcirculatory disturbances, endotoxemia and destructive changes of hepatocytes in early postoperative period. Thereafter, it results in sclerotic changes and slow restore of hepatic structure and function
