Mazykina O. Accuracy and Efficacy increase in bridge cranes and crane rails Geodetic Checking.

The thesis deals with developing methods and manners of highly accurate, rapid and safe geodetic checking of bridge crane - crane rails system geometrical parameters. For this purpose a new method of planned high-altitude survey of rails by automated laser system and further computer processing of photos has been developed. The method developed represents quite a new solution of scientific and a practical problem in determining crane rails geometric parameters. A method of bridge crane wheels horizontal skewness highly accurate determination has been developed, autocollimation taken as its basis.Commercial introduction of the developments has been carried out and their economic efficacy presented.
