Essay

On the basis of clinical-electrophysiological and f clinical-laboratory investigation of epileptic patients (145 patients) the epilepsy of sleep, epilepsy of wakefulness and diffuse form of epilepsy were identified.The correlative investigations of the main clinical and electrophysiological manifestations of those forms of epilepsy were made.The decreasing of the number of epileptic graphoelements during paradoxical stage of sleep as well as the in creasing during sleep-spindles development was established.The proepileptogen role of the decreasing of the functional state of serotoninergic system as well as antiepileptic one in case of the increasing of it's activity was described being most pronounced in those patients who suffered from epilepsy lightly connectedith stagfsf sleep-wakefulnessycle.Effects of triptophan usage in complex treatment of epileptic patients were investigated/It's sleep-corrective and antiepileptic effects were established.
