In the thesis the optimization of photothermal conditions is conducted for a cultivation of oilseed crops on plant accelerated cultivation racks and in artificial climate chambers. The influence of photoperiod duration on the growth, development and yield of sunflower lines of different maturity groups, cruciferae oil crops, castorbean was studied, and the optimum for each crop was found. The optimum temperature regimes for cultivation of self-pollinated sunflower lines were determined. The economic analysis of energy consumption for oil crop growing was conducted depending on the emitting sources and photoperiod duration. The recommendations were proposed for the optimization of the artificial climate conditions which permit to obtain 2-3 generations of a breeding material and to speed up breeding process.
