Subject: textual "fund" of small prose of the western-ukrainian authoresses in the 20-30-s of the XX-th century. Aim: to comprehend the originality of the genre-stylistic peculiarities of the western-ukrainian small prose of the intermilitary twentieth. Methods: typological, compare-historical, biographical, psychologic-analytical, sourcestudy, descriptive, retrospective and germeneutical. Results: there can be used in writing works on history ukrainian literature in the first half of the definite period, antology of the western-ukrainian prose in the process of teaching the theoretic-literary lectures scientific and pedagogical acnivity.
