Thesis is aimed at the evaluation methods of the mountainous rock geomechanical state in the process of well drilling. The evaluation and foreseeing methodic of the mountainous rock geomechanical state on the principles of the utilization of the key information while changing the geoelectrical potential in the drilling process has been offered on the analytical, laboratory and industrial basis. It has been proved that the foreseeing methodic allows to estimate and forecast the rock state within 8-10 meters before the face. The laboratory device has been developed for the definiing the coefficient of the mechanical-electrical transformathion in mountainous rocks. The theoretical investigation results have been proved in the course of industrial experiments and became the grounding for the creation of the evaluation methods of the mountainous rock which was tested at the industrial enterprises.
