Objects of research: industrial enterprises; the purpose of research: substantiation of theoretical foundations of the problem of the industrial enterprise economic activity and working out methodical recommendations on its efficiency raising; methods and apparatus of research: system approach, methods of logical generalization, correlate-regressive analysis, marginal analysis, economic and mathematical modeling, analysis of enterprises activity resalts; the definition "the economic activity of an industrial enterprise" was formulated, the system of its efficiency interdependent indices was grounded; the conception of the industrial enterprise economic activity was grounded, its basic principles, functions and main directions of perfection were elaborated; methods of approach to estimation of product competitivness was generalized, recommendations on product price establishing were worked out, which took into account technical level and quality of product, a co-ordination scheem was worked out, which connected marketing plans and enterprise economic planning; by means of correlation models and marginal analysis a method of output, price, production costs, and profit optimizing was suggested; the subject and the degree of introduction: the developments are used at the JSC "Zavod "Yuzhcabel", sphere of use: industrial enterprises, educational process.
