Essay

The dissertation is devoted to study of intracardiac hemodynamics and functional condition of endothelium under the influence of anthracyclines, to clarificate some stages of pathogenesis and revealing the early attributes of damages of the heart by this cytostatics. A condition of vasoregulating function of endothelium, electrocardiographic change during daily monitoring, intracardiac hemodynamics, lipid peroxidation and antioxidant system at the patients receiving anthracyclines in low (< 550 mg/m2) and high (> 550 mg/m2) cumulative doses are investigated. The parts of pathogenesis of anthracyclines' cardiotoxic action are specified: activation of lipid peroxidation, dysfunction of endothelium, silent myocardial ischemia, infringement of diastolic and systolic functions of heart. The early attributes of damages of heart by anthracyclines are allocated.
