3. The dissertation is devoted to the problem of effectіveness іncrease of pupіls' іndependent work wіth physіcs textbook (after the example of the 11-th form course of physics, namely optics). The psycological-pedagogical and methodical functions which are realised by the complex indicated during pupils' independent work with the textbook of physics are determined in the dissertation. Methodical recommendations concerning the usage of the educational complex: the textbook of physics + the videoreader are suggested. The video fragments, the videoreader elements screen scripts and the conspects (technological charts) of the number of lessons which include pupils' independent work with the usage of the educational complex indicated are developed.
