Korchyns'ka O. Efficiency of mineral fertilizer application

Research object: agricultural enterprises, oblast and rajon enterprises providing agri-chemical service, and chemical plants. Research objectives: to develop proposals concerning increase of economic efficiency of mineral fertilizer's application under market conditions. Methods: statistic and economic, calculation and constructive, monographic, graphic, and mathematical Theoretical and practical results: The current situation in mineral fertilizer's production and their application is analyzed. The reasons of reduction of fertilizer's application and consequences of it: fall of crop yield, deterioration of agricultural product's quality and aggravation of environment problems are displayed. Basing on the research results the directions to increase economic efficiency of mineral fertilizer's application through decrease of their cost, an economically substantiated choice of mineral fertilizers and a way of their application, optimization of doses and distribution of mineral fertilizers between agricult ural crops, and improvement of the agri-chemical service are substantiated. The proposals and recommendations contained in the thesis are to solve the problems concerning increase of economic efficiency of mineral fertilizer's application. Their implementation will help to efficient use of mineral fertilizers in agriculture in order to increase agricultural production. Research novelty: basing on the complex study of the problem concerning efficient use of mineral fertilizers the directions to increase of economic efficiency of their application are substantiated. Implement extent: The proposed directions to improve of the agri-chemical service are used by Oblagrohim-Cherkasy Ltd. The proposals concerning optimization of doses and distribution of mineral fertilizers between agricultural crops are used by private farms in Ivanychi raion Volyn oblast.
