Essay

The influence of Andreev reflection of quasipartic-les in transparent tunnel junctions of superconductors (S-I-S') as well as junctions of superconductor with ferromagnetic (S-I-F) on electric current transport is studied in the framework of the BTK model. The evo-lution of non-linear current-voltage characteristics with increasing of the junction transparency is obtained. Steady-state electrodynamics of transparent Josephson junctions in external magnetic field is considered on the basis of modified Ferrell-Prange equation accounting for possible deviations of the current-phase relationship from the usual sine law.
