The thesis is devoted to an experimental and theoretical investigation of the nonlinear dynamics of Abrikosov vortices in superconducting niobium films with anisotropic pinning nanostructures of the washboard type. Vortex guiding and matching fields in the vortex dynamics have been revealed. The ratchet effect and its reversal are elucidated for films with a symmetric and an asymmetric pinning potential, respectively. Possible applications of the predicted effects, namely in high-frequency filters, frequency converters, pulse generators, modulators and stochastic amplifiers are analyzed.
