Essay

The dissertation addresses nonequilibrium superconductivity and proximity effect in Pb/Sn and MoRe/Al proximity film sandwiches. It has been shown experimentally that quasiparticle injection into the Pb/Sn proximity sandwich leads to an increase in the parameter of strength of the proximity effect as well as to non-monotonic suppression of its energy gap. It has been found experimentally that instabilities of nonequilibrium superconducting state occur in the MoRe/Al electrode with a spatially inhomogeneous order parameter in contrast to the MoRe electrode with a spatially homogeneous order parameter under the same tunnel injection modes.
