3. The subject of the research is linguistic peculiarities of the following Ukrainian genres for children: lullabies, infant amusements, counting-out rhymes, teasing rhymes. The target is to make systematic description of linguistic character of genres of folklore for children. Methods of research are linguistic description, contrastive analysis. There were investigated system linguistic correlations of various genres of folklore for children taking into account pragmatic functions of the genres.
