Rozhko I. Agrobiological and technological peculiarities of new varieties of pineapple strawberries in conditions Western Forest Steppe of Ukraine

Objects of research: new perspective forms of pineapple strawberries examined during the first variety research. The aim of research: estimation of varieties and new forms of strawberries according to complex of features for renewal of variety division assortment in the Western Ukraine region. Methods of research: field, laboratory, statistical. Theoretical and practical results: on the basis of research results the folowing forms are defined II226-130, 4-10, Г78-30, it should be noted that they prevail over the control variety Pocahontas. The novelty of innovation : in the conditions of the Western Forest Steppe new selective forms of strawberries were examined at first by the complex of features. Degree of innovation: the form Г78-30 was sent and forms II226-130 and 4-10 were recommended for sending them to state variety testing. During 1997-1999 over 27th. seedlings of these forms were passed to farmers Efficiency: renewal variety division assortment of strawberries. Sphere of usage: industrial, pr ivate berry farm.
