Pogorelov Y. Codification Activity in the Legal System of Ukraine (general theoretical aspect)

The present thesis investigates general theoretical and methodological problems of complex analysis of the codification activity in the legal system of Ukraine. Special attention is devoted to investigation of the forms in which legislation is improved, to codification as a form of systematization and improvement of legislation. Considerable part of the research is devoted to the analysis of general theoretical aspects of the law system and legislation system as a methodological foundation for the codification activity in Ukraine. Taking into consideration the experience of solving such problems accumulated in the legal science and practice, the thesis provides a new level of theoretical comprehension and generalization of these problems, formulates new recommendations for optimization of the codification process in Ukraine.
