The dissertation investigates the formation of a lexico-semantic group (LSG) "names of religious buildings and their parts" in the Ukrainian language. Systemic relations inside this LSG, its composition and structure have been considered. The dissertation analyses the peculiarities of the LSG units ("names of religious buildings and their parts") use in different styles. The level of phonetic and grammatical adaptation in the Ukrainian language of the borrowed lexical units that belong to this LSG has been studied.
