Malinevs'ka N. Phonetic system of the Ukrainian language of the XYIIth - the beginning of the XYIIIth century (by the texts of songs in latin script).

The object of investigation is phonological phenomena of the Ukrainian language of the XVIIth - the beginning of the XVIIIth century in nouns, adjectives, pronouns and verbs. The aim is to ascertain the standardisation degree of the phonological system on the Latin script materials of songs by the comparative-historical method and the method of "linguistic geography". For the first time the new material of inquiry is introduced into scientific conversion, the problem of its localisation is solved. Some systematic occurrences of interaction of literary written language and spoken form of dialect are observed. The complex of distinctive phonological features which forms a new Ukrainian literary language is revealed. Main types of morphonological alternation are described. Tendencies of Ukrainian phonetics reproduction in Latin graphics are shown. Aspects of interference with Polish and Ukrainian are specified. The field of use is linguistics.
