The thesis is devoted the actual problem of investigating the social-psychological aspects of personality in the works by Grinchenko B.D. The problem in guestion is being studied on the material of the writer's poetry and short stories, thus guring an opportunity to follow the evolution of his literary works. It has been proved, that personality is the focal sense centre in Grinchenko's works. The social-psychological aspects of personality in shown through a series of characters in short storics and lyrics, the lyrical "me", the lyrical hero, the role lyrics hero and the definite type of an epic Narrator.The psychological motivation of the characters' actions and decisions has been researched in Grinchenko's works, the main types of psychological states which are characteristic of the social groups and theiv reaction to the definite social events and phenomena have been highlighted and become the object of depiction.
