Krynyts'ka L. The development of basic crop management technologies on buckwheat in the fallow fields of rice crop-rotation.

Object of researches: zoning and promising buckwheat genotypes, and basic crop management technologies. The purpose of researches: cultivar decision of buckwheat for aridity region under irrigation in Ukraine; development of the main techniques for buckwheat growing under rice crop-rotation conditions; study of buckwheat as forecrop for rice. Methods of research: in data management and statistical analysis of experimental data from field trials and other data sources wе used the standard methods and techniques. Results of researches: some buckwheat cultivars were searched out as adapted for farming when culturing in specific conditions; biological peculiarities of different genotypes were determined; sowing summer terms and spacing as well as effective nutrition were optimised for buckwheat in rice crop-rotation; the possible way for yield conservation under dry wind conditions was found; consistent estimate of buckwheat forecropping for rice was established; the cost efficiency of high technique s was argued. Field of application: rice-growing farm area of South part of Ukraine, rice crop-rotations.
