Object of research: the public attitudes relations (connection), in which is shown economic subjectness of atomic power stations. The purpose of research: disclosing of essence and characteristics of economic relations of atomic power stations in conditions of transition to the market, and also elaboration of the recommendations on improvement of the legislation and practice of jurisprudence in sphere of using of a nuclear energy and ensuring of nuclear and radioactive safety. Methods of research and equipment: a method of an ascention from simple to complex and from abstract to concrete; system-structural and system-functional, comparative-legal, formal-logic and historical methods. Theoretical and practical results: the differentiation of concepts of the responsibility and legal guarantees of compensation of nuclear damage, licensing of activity АES on production of electrical energy and general licensing of enterprise activity as a result of the analysis of defects and flaws of the current legislat ion are offered; the conclusions and offers received as a result of research are used by development of the conceptual plan of activity of an Interbranch fuel and energy consortium "Region" in sphere of maintenance by electrical energy of the consumers and by elaboration of the conceptual scheme of economic connections (relations) of separate subdivision "Zaporozhskya АES" of the state enterprise "The National nuclear energy company "Energoatom", there are included in an educational rate " the Economic law of Ukraine " for the students of legal specialities of higher educational establishments. Novelty: the preconditions of formation of economic subjectness АES for the first time are determined and analysed; the various factors which predetermines features of economic subjectness of atomic power stations at the present stage of market transformations in Ukraine are determined and characterized; the necessity of modification and additions in the basic Law of Ukraine " About use of a nuclear energy and radioac tive safety " is grounded, in which in section about compensation of nuclear damage it is necessary to delimit cases of causing of nuclear damage, which involves the responsibility of the lawbreaker, and cases of application of legal guarantees of compensation of nuclear damage, which are determined in the Ukrainian legislation. Area of application: law-making bodies in Ukraine; the atomic power stations of Ukraine and state enterprise "The National nuclear energy company "Energoatom"; the executive bodies of authority and management's; higher educational institutions.
