The dissertation is devoted to the study of health of city junior schoolchildren dwelling in Donbass. The work presents a characteristic of ecological, family and psychological, housing and living con-ditions as well as the regimen of the pupils' vital activity. Their health is estimated according to the indices of morbidity, physical development, mental and physical working capacity, unspecific resistance of the body. The risk- and antirisk factors most important for the formation of their health have been revealed.
