Essay

In the dissertation a theoretical generalization and a new solution of the problem of occupational health and occupational pathology of improving a system of prophylaxis of bronchopulmonary pathology in workers of the coal mining and asbestos-processing industries. The study established the role of polymorphic variants of DNA repair genes in the mechanisms of formation of bronchpulmonary pathology of professional genesis. For the first time, genetic markers of DNA repair, which are predictors of the risk of development of bronchopulmonary pathology: XPD *С/С (rs13181); XRCC1*A/A (rs25487); АТМ* Т/Т (rs664677); MLH1*А/G (rs1799977); MLH1*G (rs1799977). Markers with a protective function include: XRCC1*G/A (rs25487); MLH1*A/A (rs1799977); MLH1*A (rs1799977). Highly reliable risk criteria for the development of bronchopulmonary pathology were determined, which were included in the developed prognostic system of personalized prognosis, with a potential of 83.3%. An algorithm for determining the complex influence of etiological and modifying factors on the formation of bronchopulmonary pathology in professional groups of the coal and asbestos processing industry has been formulated.
