Dyadyshcheva-Rosovets'ka Y. Word in Taras Shewchenko's poetic contexts: The oral-traditional sources

There is elaborated the connections of poetic language of Taras Shewchenko and of Ukrainian folk songs in the dissertation. The methods are: lexical and semantic interpretation, comparative method, descriptive method, of component analysis. In the field of examination of meanings of three words ("hata","Bog/bog", "tyhyj") and the stable wordy complex "tyhyj Dunaj/dunaj" in the poetic contexts of Taras Shewchenko's poetry and folk one, the lists of the direct and symbolic meanings, presented in "Shewchenko language's dictionary", has been supplemented, and an effect of the parallel transformations of the genetically cognate stylistic constrictions in Shewchenko's poetry and folk poetry, and the phenomenon of the individual creation by this poet the stable stylistic constrictions after a model of the folk ones, which relative to parallel processes in the folklore may be called "typological", have been described.
