The object of investigation is interrogative questions in Ukrainian poetic speech. The aim is to determine the role of interrogative utterances in the formation of the poetic and national picture of the world. The methods used are the structural-semantic and descriptive ones. The novelty is determined by the new approach to the study of the traditional syntactic unit - the interrogative sentence.
