Yastrub T. Hygienic assessment of dermal exposure to pesticides in studying of working conditions during pesticides application

The subject of this thesis is the evaluation of dermal adverse effects during pesticides application. The objects of the investigation were the work-place conditions during 19 pesticides application; rat epidermis, substances with the skin resorption action. The traditional methods of the evaluation of work - place conditions; in vitro technigue employing glass diffusion cells; Gas - Liguid Chromatography; the models for the guantitative estimation of risk assessment are used. The features of contamination of the working places due to application technology and processing means are defined. Contribution of inhalation and percutaneous routes in the total exposure to pesticides are rated. The values of the factor of dermal absorption in dependence of the class of toxicity (FA=0.4; FA=0.7), which are recommended for the definition of safe levels of dermal exposure are pruved. The main work consequences were used for development and scientific substantiation of the state hygienic regulations of safety use of 12 pesticides.
