This investigation deals with the scientific and methodical basis of drawing pupils of the secondary school to the national labour traditions through weaving at the afterclasses activity groups. The methodical approaches to the fast and effective formation of notions and skills of weaving technology are defined. The cultural and aesthetic contents of pupils' preparation is investigated. The basis of the criterions of the estimation of the results of this preparation is given.
