Khalayim N. The Protection of Industrial Designs in Ukraine.

This dissertation contains the academic and practical analyses on a sphere of legal protection of industrial designs in Ukraine. The author makes a research of the industrial design concept, legal relations in the sphere of patent protection, legal aspects of the realization of the exclusive right on an industrial design in business. The author proposes the new definition of an industrial design, which grants protection of outward appearance of goods created by the works of decorative and applied arts by industrial design law. The author also proposes the definitions of essential features of an industrial design, introduction in business operations of the article, manufactured with the use of a patented industrial design, right on an industrial design, functions of a patent on an industrial design.
