Contains new data on characteristics of spread of Hepatitis A in the Western region of Ukraine with consideration of intensity of the hidden duration of epidemic process, due to the use of the modern methods of specific laboratory diagnostics is proved. The high-risk contamination groups are defined. The objective laws of formation of the natural immunity of the population towards Hepatitis A are established. The improved system of epidemiological surveillance is suggested.
