Essay

The 135 pea variety samples with different complex of valuable attributes have been studied. Some variety samples and crossing combinations are revealed which are effective in selection for plant high yielding ability, cold, disease and pest resistance as well as crop resistance to lodging. The evaluation in hybrid and breeding nurseries is carried out. The lines (families) with high yielding capasity are single out for further breeding. Line № 426 is included in preliminary reproduction under the name cv. Krasnogradsky 10.
