Object of Investigation: lucerne (Medicago sativa), clover (Trifolium pratense), goat's rye (Galega officinalis). Subject of Investigation: Protein Lignin Carbohydrate Complexes, their properties and biological activity. Aim of Investigation: theoretical and experimental studies of obtaining Protein Lignin Carbohydrate Complexes possessing high biological value. Methods of Investigation: chromatographic methods, methylation, hydrolysis, infrared-ray spectroscopy, ultraviolet-ray spectroscopy, 13C-NMR-spectroscopy, gel-chromatography. Theoretical and Practical Results and Novelty: optimum conditions of obtaining Protein Lignin Carbohydrate Complexes have been determined. Studies have been conducted on biopolymer composition, physico-mechanical and physico-chemical properties of Protein Lignin Carbohydrate Complexes. Biopolymer fractionating in some Leguminous grasses and Protein Lignin Carbohydrate Complexes have been made. For the first time comperative study on some Leguminous grasses - lucerne, clove r, goat's rye - has been conducted and their biochemical composition - has been determined, biopolymers have been isolated and characterized as well. Protein Lignin Carbohydrate Complexes sanitary-and-epidemiologic estimation has been given. The results of medico-biological investigation of Protein Lignin Carbohydrate Complexes obtained appeared to possess high antidiabetic, antiradionuclide and hepatoprotective activity. Field of Application: chemistry, pharmacology, medicine.
