Essay

On the basis of clinicolaboratory and functional methods of study the treatment-and-prophylactic method with intrauterine use of antibacterial therapy and local application of metronidazole derivatives was developed. The established correlation between clinical, sonographic, bacteriological, immunological and morphological findings permitted to extend the available data about the pathogenesis of puerperal infectious complications. The introduction of developed method allows to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity in case of abdominal delivery in multiparous women.
