Lysenko O. Comparative Jurisprudence as a Science and its Place in the System of Legal Studies.

The Dissertation is devoted to definition of the status of comparative jurisprudence as a science. The author"s view on the subject, functions, methodology, and the structure of comparative jurisprudence, which entitle us to consider it as a separate science in the system of legal studies, is based on the theoretical analysis of literature. Correlation and interrelation between comparative jurisprudence and other legal studies such as state and law theory, state and law history, specific legal studies, international law, European law, and comparative political science have been given adequate consideration. The author analyzes the legal system of Ukraine with due regard to its historical genesis and determines its place among other modern legal systems.
