Korda I. Preventive therapy of purulent-septic complications in women with risk factors after caesarian section operation

Dissertation is devoted to a problem of prophylaxis of purulent-inflammatory complications in the women of infectious risk group after operation caesarian section. The clinical, microbiologic, biophysical, biochemical and immunological methods of investigations were utilized. It has been shown, that the high frequency of pathogenic microorganisms growth on the vagina mucous membrane with predominance of the associative forms, disturbances of the immune status of an organism and the sharp unbalance between the activity of free radical reactions and functional state of antioxidant system of blood plasma in the women with the infectious risk factors after operation caesarian section take place. The preventive administration of flurenizid and antibiotic zinacef results in partial normalization of the above mentioned parameters. Combined application of these compounds is especially effective. Such complex prophylaxis results in the decrease of frequency of purulent-inflammatory diseases and reduction of t he terms of women staying in a hospital.
