Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of the influence of renin-dependent mechanisms blockade on the state of cerebral and systemic blood circulation in patients with cerebrovascular insufficiency. They have found an improvement of central and cerebral hemodynamics indices under single and course use of an inhibitor of angiotensin-converting enzyme (IACE) captoprіl, synchronic action of the drug on the state of cerebral vessels of symmetric areas, interconnection in the dynamics of indices of systemic and cerebral blood flow and dependence between effects of a single and course use of an IACE . On the base of the data obtained they made pathogenic grounds for an advisability of a therapeutic correction of hemodynamic disturbances in patients with dyscirculating encephalopathy with IACE. They have offered an acute pharmacological test for the selection of patients groups with cerebrovascular insufficiency for the further treatment with the drug under study.
