Tsekhmejstruk M. Oat yield and grain quality depending on growing technology under conditions of the northern Ukrainian Forest-Steppe.

A process of productivity level and grain quality formation depending on the technology model. The development of efficient and environmentally safe resource-saving technology of oat variety growing for securing heavy yield and proper produce quality under conditions the northern Ukrainian Forest-Steppe. The research methods are field, measuring and weighing, electrophotometric, chemical, mathematical and statistical and calculated-comparative/ The connection level of oat yield with weather factors, leaf area, crop photosynthetic potential, dry matter accumulation and yield formula tlements is established, the optimal nutrients content and their ratio in leaves are determined. The recommendations for production concerning the introduction of resouce-saving, biologized, high (base) and alternative technology models are developed. The resource-saving, biologized oat growing technology is applied at the farms of the Monastyryshche district of the Cherkassy Region over a total area 130 ha. As a result of t his technology use the average yield was obtained by 8.4 hkg/ha higher thas on the average for the district (32.7 hkg/ha). The field of application is agriculture.
