Barysheva O. Self-determination and self-realization as a motive of participation in society activities

The dissertation comprises the results of theoretical and practical research of the motive sphere of the senior pupils self-determination. The psychological base of out-of-school unregulated and creative activities with the elements of psychological universal education is shown. Tthe specific character of the manifestation of the above-mentioned activities, as far as the personal self-determination of the senior pupils is concemed, is shown also. The specificity of motivation of senior pupils' participation in literary and drama activities is revealed as well. The dependence between the development of a self-determined personality and the peculiarities of educational influence of unregulated creative activities on the pupils is revealed. It is experementally shown that the personal new formations being formed in the process of learning (based on the suggested programme),i.e. - initiative, reflexion, the humanitarian approach, the adequacy of attitude towards himself and others, aspiration for self-real ization - are being transformed into relatively steady internal regulators of behaviour. Moreover, these formations are helpful in the development of the individual as an active personality.
